The key point we try to make our clients understand is that search traffic is qualified traffic so if someone finds your site via search there is a high potential of them being interested in an aspect of your business. Through Analytics we can check “bounce rates” to examine the performance of your site  to see how qualified the traffic was and adjust  your site accordingly.

Another interesting finding is that people that search with two phrases are more likely to be researching for information where as if someone searches with 3 or more key phrases they are more likely looking to buy.

The power of good optimisation can be found in the following 3 pictures done by external studies. These studies show the percentage of traffic on first 2 pages of Google. Page 2 results account only for 10% of the traffic.
