Camden Developments builds custom homes, major renovations and multi-residential projects, and takes on no more than three jobs a year. The new site moves the business off Wix and puts its actual record in front of the reader: six projects, the registrations and the years. Live on www.camdendevelopments.com since 18 September 2026.
The direction
One direction, chosen from three.
Three concept directions were designed and presented. The builder chose the cinematic one: slow aerial footage of the Barkly Street townhouses behind a plain statement of what the business does, with the person responsible for every job introduced in the second sentence.
Below the film the page goes straight to the work, then the approach, then a short record of facts an owner, architect or project partner can check for themselves: years building, registration numbers and how many jobs are taken on each year. Nothing on the page asks to be taken on trust.

Project films on the page
The homepage opens on aerial footage of Barkly Street, and walkthrough films are embedded on the project pages with accessible titles. Photography and film were supplied by the client and their studio; Wicked designed and built the site around them.
Quoted and attributed
A recommendations page carries client testimonials with names and roles, as supplied. Nothing was written for them.
Facts a reader can check
Years building, builder registration numbers and jobs taken a year sit on the homepage. The structured data matches the visible business details, with no invented ratings or awards.
Served from the site itself
Newsreader and Source Sans 3 are self-hosted with their licences, so the pages do not depend on an outside font service.
Checked at four widths
Before launch every page was checked at 320, 390, 768 and 1440 pixels for horizontal overflow, the same way on every page type, not only the homepage.
The move
Off Wix without touching the email.
The domain stayed where it was. Only the website records changed: the bare domain and www were pointed at the new host, and the nameservers and every mail and verification record were left alone. Both addresses serve the site over HTTPS.
